Information For Authors

«Musica Docta» is an open access journal that grants their rights to authors. For information about author's rights we suggest reading our Open Access Policy.

If you are interested in submitting your manuscript to the Journal, you should read the About section. In particular we suggest you to read the Peer Review policy and the Code of Conduct.

Submissions are accepted electronically as email attachments. All articles are sent for examination to two advisors, and their opinion is reported to the authors in detail, in writing. Submissions are reviewed anonymously; thus, author name and contact information should appear in a separate file and not in the manuscript itself.

Text files should be formatted as MS Word documents, and all figures, illustrations, and musical examples should be presented in separate files, formatted as JPEGs or TIFFs at 300 dpi or greater.

The documents, in French, English, Italian, Spanish or German, are to be emailed to the Journal Manager, along with an abstract (200 words) and 5 key-words. Preference will be given to articles that do not exceed 10 pages in print (about 20.000 strokes).
