Abstract

La recensione inquadra il volume all’interno della manualistica italiana di storia della musica e ne analizza e discute alcuni tratti portanti quali in particolare, l’apporto iconografico, il largo uso di documenti (che, a differenza di quanto non accada nella manualistica non segue ma precede la ricostruzione storica), il coordinamento con risorse online (partiture, files audio per gli ascolti).
